On September 29, we officially launched Contáblika, a platform developed by EtyaLab to help accounting professionals better organize client management, reduce manual tasks, and leverage technology to work more efficiently.
The event took place at the Hotel Las Américas Golden Tower in Panama City and brought together more than 35 accountants and industry professionals. They participated in a breakfast designed not only to showcase the platform but also to discuss the changes the accounting profession is undergoing in the face of digitalization, automation, and the advancement of artificial intelligence.
Digital transformation is also changing accounting.
Technology is changing the way companies manage their information, communicate with their customers, and make decisions. The accounting profession is no exception.
A significant part of accountants’ daily work continues to rely on manual processes: requesting documents from clients, following up on outstanding information, tracking important dates, organizing files, sending reminders, and maintaining multiple conversations across different channels.
These activities are necessary, but they can also consume a considerable amount of time that could be devoted to higher-value tasks, such as financial analysis, planning, and client advisory services.
We discussed precisely this topic during the presentation “Accounting and Automation: Challenges and Opportunities in the AI Era,” highlighting how technology should become a tool that complements the knowledge and experience of the accounting professional.
The goal is not to replace the accountant, but to provide them with better tools so they can increasingly focus on analyzing, advising, and making better decisions alongside their clients.

During the event, we presented Contáblika in action, demonstrating how the platform seeks to centralize—in a single place—various activities that are part of an accountant’s daily routine.

The idea behind the platform stems from a very simple need: for the accountant to have a clearer view of what is happening with all their clients, without relying on multiple spreadsheets, conversations, emails, or individual reminders.

One of the most valuable components of the event was the opportunity to speak directly with the professionals who attended.
In addition to showcasing Contáblika’s current features, we were able to learn firsthand about some of the key challenges accountants face in their daily operations, hear their questions, and receive recommendations regarding new features that could be added to the platform.
This feedback is especially important to us.
At EtyaLab, we want Contáblika to continue evolving based on the real needs of accounting professionals, incorporating technology and automation wherever it can truly impact their productivity.
Every piece of feedback received during the event helps us continue improving the platform and defining the upcoming features we will be developing.
